I am at Day 3 of Jazz Fest in New Orleans. I had planned to post several daily updates, but the Internet access at the Marriott Convention Center is a mere $16 per day. I have hacked into some free wireless in the hotel lobby, so a short update. Jazz Fest runs from 11AM to 7PM, with 10 stages and 8 bands per day at most. It's also 90 degrees, so one gets worn out fairly quickly. Add the beer, the awesome food, and the fact that one unnamed family member FORCED me to go to the Bon Jovi show at 5PM, and this is the result...
.

Watching guys 55 years old yelling the words to "Livin' on A Prayer" was more than I could handle. The guy behind me wasn't very interested either.

uh.... were you traveling with more than one unnamed family member? That told me they had fun.
That would be correct. I had fun also, but Jovi was boring. He did songs of his last two albums, plus stuff like "Twist & Shout", and the "You Make Me Wanna Shout", etc. If you notice in the picture, the guy behind me was kinda losing interest also.
